Judicial Academy

OUR PURPOSE:

R.L CHOHAN JUDICIAL ACADEMY has been established in Jalandhar. The vision behind the endeavor was to provide a guiding light to the students preparing for Judicial Competitive Exams and Law Entrance/CLAT for various universities. The institute offers Classroom classes as well as Online classes and correspondence material for law and judicial exams. The main motive is not just to teach and complete the syllabus; rather to give students a bigger picture of life so that they are prepared for anything that comes across them. We are aiming at instilling human values and compassion into our students, to make them better human beings and indeed to do the best we can for our nation. As a coaching institute we have the responsibility not only for teaching the subjects; rather producing the best officers, not only the best in their official duties but in their societal and National duties.

OUR PROMISE:

We promise to teach you to the best of our ability and to fulfill all our commitments made to you at the time of admission. Our genuine results, the faith of the students in us, the work culture, the teaching pattern, etc., everything is evidence of that. Since you plan to join us, let me tell you also that here the teaching pattern will be totally exam centric. The topics which are the most difficult and the most important will be taught in the most exhaustive and detailed manner and that too in simple manner. With more and more experience in teaching, a teacher gets exposed to diverse circumstances and questions and hence his teaching becomes more innovative, creative, and effective. Additionally, he reads and researches as much and that is what makes the teacher a class apart. Our only appeal to the students is: Be regular and punctual to the classes; be positive and forward looking; be open to us—in case of any complaint, directly write and give your complaint to the authorities; have full faith in the organization that you have joined. Our teachers, are capable to deliver a high level of conceptual clarity and they give some such points to the students which are not to be found in the books and are very rare to be found elsewhere and that’s what makes us different.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The teaching here is topical and not section wise. Section wise approach is not suitable for these exams. Topical approach (which covers all the sections also) takes care of Preliminary, Mains as well as the interview. Individual topics need to be focused according to their complexity and importance in the exams. Topical study means picking up a topic and discussing all its dimensions in detail, involving all sections of the same law or other laws coupled with a detailed conceptual clarity including all landmark judgments, Regular answer writing tests are conducted which are evaluated by the teachers with proper remarks and are discussed individually by the teachers with the students to give them proper feedback. The Interview Guidance Programme is free for all our students whenever they take the interview (even after the course is over), The course package includes the Prelims, Mains and Special interview classes and Mock interview sessions conducted by subject expert, retired judge, and experienced faculty with proper feedback. A real teacher and coach are a person whose mere presence gives a great deal of motivation to the students. No matter how much of organized set up, digitalization and material you provide, if you are not able to give conceptual clarity and the audio-visual impact upon the mind of the students coupled with a strong feeling of inspiration and motivation to the students the whole purpose is defeated. Mr. R.L Chohan Retd. Judge is able to make his students visualize and live the things that he teaching and who is able to have a long-lasting effect of his teachings upon the mind of the students. Ultimately what matters is what the student carries in his/her mind directly from the classes. We at this academy are highly focused upon the above attributes. Our results and the performance of our students after they get into their respective jobs is a clear manifestation of the same. Retd. Judge R. L. Chohan’s Partap Judicial Academy is not just a coaching Institute, it is rather a family of highly motivated, energized, proactive, constructive, aware, compassionate and positive minded individuals.
